The Soy Excellence Center (SEC) Nigeria was established with a vision to support agriculture as a foundation for a healthy and growing Nigeria with soya as a solution for Nigeria's protein needs.
The SEC concept is to help growing markets like Nigeria address protein challenges and create “cascade of demand” for soy and soy-related products. The goal is to provide agricultural expertise and facilitate connections that drive market possibilities.
It is our aim to increase protein production and improve consumption of soybean in Nigeria both in human and animal through training of stakeholders.

The Premier Agribusiness Academy recognizes the need for reliable, affordable and high-quality soy and feed for the animal agriculture and aquaculture industries to help address the protein gap.
The vision of Soy Excellence Centre is to support agriculture as a foundation for a healthy and growing Nigeria with soya as a solution for Nigeria’s protein need.
The Soy Excellence Centre mission is to provide a sustainable educational platform to advance learning and best practices that support the growth of Nigerian soya-relevant agri-sectors.
THE NEEDS
We acknowledge key operational inefficiencies must be overcome and agricultural expertise must be developed.
As a leading capacity building organisation in agriculture, The Premier Agribusiness Academy has organized a set of partners in Nigeria to advance the Soy Excellence Center concept to develop the talent needs in agribusinesses to address protein challenges.
SEC & US SOY
SEC is a US SOY program working with Premier Agribusiness Academy and other stakeholders working together towards supporting agriculture as a foundation for a healthy and growing Nigeria with soya as a solution for Nigeria’s protein need.
SEC curriculum contributors are and accreditors Nigerian and American contributors, and tracks are accredited by appropriate regulatory bodies and technical advisors
PAA is excited to have partnered with USSOY to support the establishment of the Soy Excellence Center in Nigeria.
IT’S ALL ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS
The Nigerian SEC is building relationships with industry players and the Nigerian government critical in the for anticipated soy consumption to help raise the profile and visibility of the SEC through its Advisory Council to promote the benefits of the SEC to soy value chain stakeholders.
The Nigerian Soy Excellence Centre (SEC) is administered and operated by a Centre Lead, The Premier Agribusiness Academy.
